Interprofessional Education

Interprofessional education (IPE) occurs when two or more professions learn with, about and from each other to enable effective collaboration and improve health outcomes.

IPE supports the University's strategic plan  

President Harvey Stenger created the University's Road Map, a plan for Binghamton's future. The plan includes several strategic priorities, among them:

Binghamton's IPE program supports these strategic initiatives through a curriculum focused on ensuring our graduates are prepared to support an improved system of health and wellness for individuals, communities and populations.
