PCC - Polish Community Center of Binghamton (Non-profit)
347 Prospect Street |
Polish (Veteran) Community Center of Binghamton began in 1923 as a gathering for the many U.S. Veterans with Polish heritage. The Center was a highlight for cheerful events and to bolster community activism in our Central NYS.
In 1941 our members had been sent overseas. It was a beacon, refuge, and home for those who served. Our US-Polish Veterans would defend us all in the heroic battle of WW2 and many other Wars to keep our freedom free. Today, we actively participate and help to organize charitable events with positive outreach throughout our community in a message of giving, volunteering, hope, and peace.
The PCC is a community partner with the Center for Civic Engagement's impactBING CORE Program. If you're interested in meeting with a CCE Graduate Assistant to learn about other volunteer opportunities with the CCE's community partners, please complete the interest form: https://forms.gle/FC3f3efePsh33yHq8
