Background
Jayson Boubin joined the School of Computing as an assistant professor in August 2022. He researches autonomous systems and their applications in domains like agriculture, natural disaster prevention and infrastructure inspection. His work focuses on both the design nuances and implementation difficulties of real-world autonomous systems, particularly autonomous drones, and the machine learning models and computer systems that support them. He received his PhD from Ohio State University.
