Background
Rosa Darling is a Bartle Professor in the Division of Nursing at 黑料视频's Decker College of Nursing and Health Sciences. She retired from regular faculty service in 2024, at the rank of associate professor, after 14 years with the University.
Darling is a three-time alumna of Decker, having earned a bachelor鈥檚 degree in nursing in 2007, a master鈥檚 degree in family nursing in 2009 and a PhD in nursing in 2010. She also holds an associate degree in nursing from SUNY Broome Community College and a bachelor of religious education from Clarks Summit University.
Darling has vast clinical expertise in telemetry and neonatal intensive care nursing. She has also worked in administrative roles as a hospital supervisor and holds national certification in neonatal intensive care nursing. She has taught in undergraduate and graduate nursing programs in person and online at Decker College. Her focus has been pathophysiology, quantitative research, and online course design and implementation.
At Decker, Darling鈥檚 research has focused on simulation in nursing education, neonatal care, maternal child healthcare, population health and obesity. She also co-authored national guidelines for asthma care in schools.
