Katie Burkhouse, a fourth-year graduate student in the Binghamton Mood Disorders Institute directed by Professor of Psychology Brandon Gibb, recently won a $25,000 grant from the American Psychological Foundation to fund her dissertation. Her primary research interests focus on combining multiple levels analysis, including event-related potentials (ERPs), pupillometry and genetics, to better understand cognitive-emotional processing and its relation to the development and maintenance of youth depression.
