Susan Deer Cloud ’80, MA ’82, was awarded a New York Foundation for the Arts fellowship for 2011. Deer Cloud, a poet, was one of 105 people to win the award out of 3,692 applicants in five categories. The foundation is the nation’s largest provider of funding, information and services to individual artists. Deer Cloud, a former lecturer at ºÚÁÏÊÓƵ, has two books forthcoming.
