Omowunmi Sadik, professor of chemistry, was elected to the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering College of Fellows Class of 2012 for research and development of nano-bioanalytical detection platforms for environmental diagnostics and biological monitoring. The College of Fellows is comprised of the top 2 percent of medical and biological engineers in the country. A formal induction ceremony will be held in Washington, D.C. on Feb. 20.
