Alexa Schmidt, registered dietician with Sodexo Campus Services, placed second in the Most Innovative Nutrition Program category in the National Association of College & University Food Services (NACUFS) annual Nutrition Awards Program for the 鈥淣ourish U with Alexa鈥� program. Nourish U with Alexa promotes the benefits of proper nutrition, wellness and living a healthy lifestyle to the campus community. The awards program aims to help member institutions advance their culinary expertise by acknowledging successful promotions and outstanding recipes. Contests are open to all NACUFS institutional members. The NACUFS membership consists of approximately 550 institutions of higher education from across the U.S. and Canada, and nearly 500 industry members from the food, equipment and consulting market segments.
