New international students are required to check in with the ISSS Office using the arrival form after entering the United States.
Orientation Schedule of Events
The Spring 2025 International Student Orientation will include two parts: a series
of pre-recorded videos that you should watch now and programs that you will attend

Part I: Pre-arrival Orientation
The pre-recorded videos can be accessed on and will cover a variety of important topics for new students including health insurance,
immigration regulations and more. Make sure to scroll down the page to the 鈥淢y Courses鈥 section and click on the 鈥満诹鲜悠 International Orientation鈥 link. These videos should be watched before International Student Orientation on January
16.
Part II: International Student Orientation
The interactive in-person components on January 16 will allow new international students
to engage with one another, make connections and get to know more about the Binghamton
University community in an informal social environment.
All new international students are required to participate in International Student Orientation, even if you have previously attended another university in the United States.
All pre-arrival emails will be posted on our webpage for future reference. Emails will only be posted once they have been distributed to incoming students.
