My name is Annie Smith and I’m the International Student and Scholar Services Programming Coordinator. As a new student, getting involved in campus clubs, sports and events will be vital to your success at Binghamton. Here are some of my tips on how to become immersed in the ºÚÁÏÊÓƵ Community!
Ways to get involved:

- Choose from the list of event happenings on B-Welcome, or B-Line announcements.
- Become involved in one of the .
- Go for a hike in Binghamton’s on-campus Nature Preserve –735,000 sq. meters of land and 81,000 sq. meters of wetlands.
- Head down to the East Gym and learn about Campus Recreation's group classes, swimming pool and open recreation schedule.
- Volunteer on campus or in the greater Binghamton area. The Center for Civic Engagement (CCE) works with the local community to provide opportunities to volunteer and make a difference.
- Grab a friend and explore the area! Use your student ID to ride the or for free. Participate in the , , go to a , visit the or check some of the area's great local !
- Get to know the campus from near or far! View a virtual tour of campus and the ºÚÁÏÊÓƵ Blog to see the newest happenings!
- Come to the , held once a month. The first coffee hour of the spring 2025 semester will be Wednesday, February 5 from 3:00-4:30 p.m. in the Old Champlain Atrium (Old Champlain, Room 133).
- Join the Global Networking Group and meet other students who are interested in connecting with diverse peers. All ºÚÁÏÊÓƵ students are welcome to fill out the to join this program.
