Collections

The Glenn G. Bartle Library houses collections in the fine arts, humanities, social sciences, and mathematical and computer sciences. The collections include books, journals, newspapers, reference materials, and over-sized materials. It also has several specialized language collections: Arabic, Hebrew, and Persian. In addition, Bartle Library is a Federal Depository housing selected .
Special Collections and University Archives are also located in Bartle Library on the second floor.
Microfilm and Microfiche Collection
Older materials available on microfilm or microfiche are located in the Fine Arts Collection. Microreaders are available to view, scan, and save material to your storage drive or USB stick. For more information about using the microreaders, visit Reader Services.
Reference Collection
The Bartle Library Reference Collection, located on the first floor in the Information Commons area, contains fact books, encyclopedias, dictionaries, writing guides, and more. These materials are helpful for background research and to provide supporting information.

Bartle Library Reader Services Desk

Research and Reference Help
Research Assistance Services provide help in identifying and accessing an extensive range of print and electronic resources for teaching, learning and research. Study Spaces
Study space is available throughout Bartle Library. Designated quiet study space is located in the East Reading Room (first floor), North Reading Room (second floor), individual study carrels on the 3rd and 4th floors, and Fine Arts area.
Group study rooms are reservable.
