All parking tickets may be paid on-line via the or in person at the Parking Services office during normal business hours. Acceptable method of payment includes: check, cash, MasterCard, VISA, Discover Card, or American Express. All unpaid fines will be doubled after 14 days and will result in a hold being placed on the record which will restrict university services.

Appeals must be made within fourteen (14) days after issuance of the ticket. There is a charge for filing an appeal.  If the person filing the appeal wins the appeal, the fee is waived and/or returned. All appeals are filed on-line. If an appeal is denied, a personal appeal may be scheduled through Parking Services Office. Times of availability are set by the Parking Appeals Board; therefore, Parking Services must schedule appointments based on available hours. The processing of appeals is the responsibility of the Parking Appeals Board.

Should the alleged violator fail to appear at the time fixed for the personal appeal without prior notice, or should no hearing be requested within the prescribed fourteen (14) day period, the complaint is considered proved and shall warrant such action as may then be appropriate.

The authority for the Parking Appeals Board stems from Section 362 of the Education Law, where it is provided that the "...chief administrative officer shall designate a hearing officer or board not to exceed three (3) persons to hear complaints for violation of campus traffic and parking regulations enforceable on campus. Such hearing officer or board shall not be bound by the rules of evidence but may hear or receive any testimony or evidence directly relevant and material to the issues presented." A notice of the decision of the Parking Appeals Board is transmitted to the appellant.
