Procedures
It is the policy at 黑料视频 that all persons evacuate a building immediately when the alarms sound. No person who is physically capable of self-evacuation shall remain inside any building during an alarm other than emergencyresponse personnel. If unable to self-evacuate, contact University Police at 607-777-2222.
No person shall enter a building in which the alarms are sounding, with the exception of emergency response personnel or those specifically requested by emergency responders.
Drills
Definition: An exercise performed to train staff and occupants, and to elevate their efficiency and effectiveness, in carrying out emergency evacuation procedures.
Section 807 of the NYS Education Law requires that drills be conducted in all buildings.
The International Fire Code states the frequency of such drills as follows:

*Certain buildings may have additional drill requirements for accreditation needs.
These are addressed as needed.
EH&S shall be responsible for conducting these drills and generating the appropriate paperwork, which will be managed and stored by EH&S.
Per the requirements of the International Fire Code table 405.4, the drills shall be held at unexpected times and under varying conditions.
Records of drills shall include the following information:
- Identity of the person conducting the drill
- Date and time of the drill
- Notification method used and location
- Special conditions (if any) simulated
- Problems encountered
- Weather conditions during the drill
- Duration for complete evacuation
- Estimated number of occupants evacuated
