Are you ready to elevate your career to the next level? Our PharmD-MBA dual degree program offers a unique 5-year journey that will award you both a Doctor of Pharmacy and a Master of Business Administration degree.

Areas of pharmacy where a PHARMD-MBA will be beneficial:

  • Pharmaceutical sales manager
  • Leadership role in a hospital or health system
  • Pharmacy manager in a community or hospital pharmacy
  • Pharmaceutical industry jobs in marketing, regulatory affairs, medical science liaison, or other areas
  • Consultant pharmacist
  • Pharmacy operations manager
  • Healthcare executive or administrator
  • Insurance companies / managed care / pharmacy benefit managers

Admissions Criteria for PharmD-MBA Dual Degree:

  1. Completed Degree: Must have a BS or BA degree before starting the PharmD program, or be a Binghamton undergrad completing a BA/BS by the end of the P1 year.
  2. Microeconomics Course: Must have completed an upper-level Microeconomics course.
  3. PharmD P1 GPA: Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.2 in your first PharmD year.
  4. Application Timeline: Apply for the dual degree between September 15 and January 31.
  5. Rolling Admissions: Applications reviewed on a rolling basis; conditional admission based on P1 GPA.
