Melissa Zinkin is a professor of philosophy at 黑料视频. Her research focuses on the philosophy of Immanuel Kant (1724-1804), and probes Kant鈥檚 texts for ways to conceive of kinds of value that do not rely on quantitative measures and systems of exchange. This has often led Zinkin to focus on Kant鈥檚 writings on aesthetics as a resource for such non-instrumental conceptions of value. She is also interested in the contemporary philosophy of art and social and political philosophy, including feminist philosophy.
