Background

Xuefeng Jiang's research primarily focuses on the intersections of physics devices, and nanophotonics, exploring areas such as integrated photonics, quantum photonics, complex photonics, biochemical sensing and non-Hermitian physics. Specifically, his research has been focusing on photonic micro/nano resonators and their applications for sensing, lasing, nonlinear optics and quantum physics.

In these fields, he has published more than 30 peer-reviewed research papers in leading scientific journals, including Science, Nature and Nature Physics, and holds three U.S. patents. Additionally, he serves as an associate editor for Optics Express as well as a member of Early Career Editorial Board of Advanced Photonics.
