Application fee waivers are available to select early spring 2025 and fall 2025 applicants for the following programs:

- Electrical and Computer Engineering (MS, PhD)
- Materials Science and Engineering (MS, PhD)
- Mechanical Engineering (MS, PhD)
- Healthcare Systems Engineering (MS)
- Health Systems (MS Executive Program)
- Industrial and Systems Engineering (MS, PhD)
- Systems Science (MS, PhD)
How to apply
To apply for an application fee waiver:
- Begin an application through the
- Upload the following materials:
- A complete set of your undergraduate (and, if applicable, graduate) transcripts
- A resum茅 or CV

For Systems Science PhD applicants only: Your statement of purpose
- Once these above materials are uploaded, email watsongradfeewaiver@binghamton.edu to request a fee waiver. In the email, please include:
- Your first and last name
- Attachment of your unofficial English proficiency scores
- We accept TOEFL iBT, TOEFL Essentials, IELTS, Pearson PTE Academic, and the Duolingo English Test. Click here for more information about the English proficiency requirement, and which international applicants are eligible for an English proficiency exam waiver.

You will be notified by the Watson Graduate Recruitment team regarding your fee waiver request via email.
Please note: To request an application fee waiver review, you do not need to submit your full application. You only need to start the online application, submit the materials listed above and send the request email.
