Impressive incoming class brings pride to University

Binghamton welcomed new and returning students last month with move-in days signifying the beginning of fall semester and a new academic year. Approximately 2,850 freshmen, 1,080 transfer students and 1,200 new graduate students joined the University this year.

Alumni to address climate change at Homecoming talk

The U.S. Ambassador to Palau, the special advisor of research and innovation to the Global Covenant of Mayors and a former climate change communicator for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency will speak at TIER Talks® presented by M&T Bank. The Oct. 6 session will explore the impact of greenhouse gases within and  beyond large cities, the role public policy could play in helping to avert a crisis and how the issue can be better communicated to the public.
