Undergraduate
Prospective undergraduate students are encouraged to submit the prerequisite transcript evaluation form below to request a single course prerequisite evaluation (for example, Composition II) or a full prerequisite evaluation (see prerequisite coursework below.)

Prerequisite coursework
Prerequisite course completion is required prior to starting the core nursing courses. In the traditional four-year plan, nursing prerequisites take four semesters (year 1 and year 2) to complete.

Anatomy, physiology, chemistry and microbiology courses expire after 10 years. Decker requires comprehensive examinations in expired prerequisite subject areas or a repeat of coursework to demonstrate proficiency.
All courses must be taken for at least three credits. It is expected that chemistry, anatomy and physiology include a laboratory component.
Candidates are encouraged to contact the Decker Division of Advising and Academic Excellence with questions regarding transfer courses. Required prerequisites may be taken in person or online at any accredited college or university.
Note: General Education requirements will not be evaluated. Get more information regarding Binghamton's general education requirements.
This form is appropriate for students interested in the following programs:
- Intra-University Transfer/Double Degree (IUT/DD or Traditional Transfer: Students may apply to the traditional junior class for fall semesters only.
Admitted juniors must have all prerequisites complete prior to their intended start date.
- Baccalaureate Accelerated Track (BAT): Students must have all prerequisites and a previous bachelor's degree complete prior to starting the program.

Graduate
Admitted graduate students may to have courses previously completed at other institutions evaluated for transfer or waiver of credit to meet degree requirements.

International Students
Students with international transcripts must first have a course-to-course and degree evaluation from or . A WES or ECE evaluation provides Binghamton with consistent information regarding degrees, courses and grades in U.S. equivalencies; this ensures students receive a timely and accurate application review.
