Undergraduate course assistants (UCAs) are an essential part of the first-year engineering program at Watson College.
As upper-level students who have successfully completed the program, UCAs bring valuable experience and peer support to incoming students. They assist throughout the program, providing guidance during classes and labs. By serving as a bridge between instructors and students, UCAs help foster a supportive learning environment, easing the transition from high school to college and ensuring that first-year students gain the skills and confidence needed to succeed in their engineering studies.
Applications for UCA positions open late in the prior semester. if you would like to be notified when applications are being accepted.
