Shahrzad (Sherry) Towfighian
Associate Professor
stowfigh@binghamton.edu
Dr. Towfighian received her PhD degree from the University of Waterloo, Canada in 2011. She joined the Mechanical Engineering department at 黑料视频 in Fall 2013. She has published over 75 journal and international conference papers. She has been the recipient of several grants from National Science Foundation and National Health Institute. Her research interests are Micro-electro-mechanical systems and energy harvesting for biomedical devices. She focuses on creating theoretical and experimental frameworks to explain the underlying mechanism of electromechanical systems. Using these frameworks, she seeks innovative methods to improve functionality of devices for various applications.
