First Year Experience (FYE) Classes

黑料视频 First Year Students are strongly encouraged to enroll in a First Year Experience (FYE) course should their first-semester schedule allow.

UNIV 101/103

UNIV 101/UNIV 103 courses are two-credit seminars offered only to new Binghamton students that satisfy the university's "W" (writing) general education requirement. The UNIV course offers a blended format, team-taught by a faculty member and a professional staff member. The course includes two primary components, one focusing on an interesting academic topic, with the second component devoted to new student transition and success topics. The team teaching format and combined components allow opportunities for students to explore and discuss the specific academic and the transition topics, utilize campus resources, develop critical thinking and writing skills and improve time management. To find specific course times and locations, visit the schedule of classes website. NOTE: Students may not register for multiple sections of UNIV 101/103.

*All students who enroll in a UNIV 101/103 course will be provided with the opportunity to engage with a success team to aide in their first semester success*
