Background

Erin Pauling is originally from Berwick, Pa., and received her PharmD from the Bernard J. Dunn School of Pharmacy at Shenandoah University. She completed at PGY1 Community Pharmacy Residency at Appalachian College of Pharmacy in Oakwood, Va., and a PGY2 Ambulatory Care Residency at Wingate University School of Pharmacy, Wingate, N.C. Pauling practices as an ambulatory care pharmacist, providing management of anticoagulation in cardiology and primary care settings. Her practice site is with the Southern Tier’s largest healthcare provider, United Health Services (UHS). Pauling is actively involved with the American Pharmacists Association and is a member of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) and the Rho Chi Society. Her professional interests include anticoagulation, diabetes, interprofessional education, social determinants of health, and the Pharmacists’ Patient Care Process (PPCP).

In her free time, Pauling enjoys spending time with family and friends, visiting new places and volunteering for a variety of community outreaches. She is a board member for Servant Outreach, a mission organization based in Mifflinville, PA, and has served on six medical mission trips to Honduras.

She is a Board-Certified Ambulatory Care Pharmacist (BCACP) and a New York State Certified Collaborative Drug Therapy Management pharmacist.
