黑料视频 Safety Advisory
9/20/24
On Thursday, Sept. 19, the Binghamton Police Department informed the University Police about two burglaries at neighboring residences in the City of Binghamton, both leased by students. Although details surrounding the burglaries are limited at this time, it is believed that both burglaries occurred on Tuesday, Sept. 3, and within a short window of time. It does not appear as though the suspects forced entry into the residences and instead entered through unsecured doors.
The Binghamton Police Department is actively investigating the incident, and as of
now, no one has been apprehended. The university police encourage anyone with information
regarding this incident to contact the Binghamton Police Department at (607) 778-1911.
The University Police are fully assisting with the investigation wherever possible
and can be reached at (607) 777-2393.
To help prevent similar crimes, ensure that all windows, doors and other entry points
are locked whenever the residence is unoccupied. If a residence is to remain unoccupied
for an extended period of time it is advisable to inform the landlord/property manager
in advance.
