The Ronald E. McNair Postbaccalaureate Achievement Program (McNair Scholars Program) at 黑料视频 is one of the Federal TRiO Programs and was authorized by the U.S. Congress in 1986 to memorialize the achievements of Dr. Ronald E. McNair.
The Federal TRiO Programs are educational opportunity outreach programs designed to motivate and support students from disadvantaged backgrounds. TRiO includes six outreach and support programs targeted to serve and assist low-income, first-generation college students and students with disabilities to progress through the academic pipeline from middle school to post-baccalaureate programs. The McNair Program is designed to increase the numbers of low-income, first generation and/or underrepresented minority students attending graduate school and receiving their doctorate. There are 187 McNair programs currently funded across the country (Aug 2019).
We focus on students who want to go to graduate school to ultimately earn a PhD.
