The Science and Technology Entry Program is designed for New York State residents in grades 7 through 12 who are minorities historically underrepresented or economically disadvantaged in the scientific, technical, health-related, and licensed professions.
- A student is considered a New York State resident if he or she resides in New York State and has lived in New York State for the last two terms of school prior to entry into the STEP program or resided in New York State for at least 12 months immediately preceding the first term for which he or she is seeking participation in the STEP program.
- Historically underrepresented in the scientific, technical, health-related, and licensed professions are Black or African-American, Hispanic/Latino, American Indian or Alaska Native.

Selection Process
Students must apply to 黑料视频 STEP by completing a STEP application. The application will ask for the students total grade point average (GPA), science and math GPA, and Regents test scores for Integrated Algebra, Geometry, Algebra2/Trigonometry, Earth Science, Living Environment, chemistry a, and Physics (when applicable).
The application will also ask for demographic information, including gender and race/ethnicity, and family income.
Prior to acceptance letters being sent, there may be an interview and STEP staff will obtain each applicant official report card and other student records and confirm income eligibility.
