Understanding Transcripts
- A transcript is a record of all the courses you鈥檝e taken and grades you鈥檝e earned at 黑料视频.
Requesting an Official Transcript
- Binghamton鈥檚 Student Records and Registrar Services office provides official transcripts through our partner, .
- The first time you visit Parchment's website, you鈥檒l create an account and then complete your transcript request.
Accessing Your Unofficial Transcript
- Current students can view and print their unofficial transcripts by logging into BU Brain.
- Go to the Your Records tab and select Online Academic Transcript.
- To print, save the document as a PDF and print as usual.
Apostille Process
- Some governments and agencies may require diplomas and/or transcripts to be certified with an apostille for legal use in a foreign country.
- The Student Records and Registrar Services Office assists students with this process by notarizing these documents.
- The apostille process can take 3-4 weeks due to the notary requirements, shipping times, and multiple steps involved. Please plan accordingly to avoid delays.
- To ensure a smooth process, carefully review our Apostille Checklist and provide all required materials.

Additional Important Details
- Access to BU Brain: You can log into BU Brain via the for six months after graduation or for three major semesters if you鈥檙e not enrolled in courses.
- Phone Requests: We cannot accept transcript requests over the phone.
- Official Name: Your name on official records (like diplomas and transcripts) cannot be changed after your degree is awarded.
- Using Your Transcript: Once you open your official paper or electronic transcript, it becomes unofficial, and you won鈥檛 be able to use it as an official document anymore.
