NSPM-33
Research Security
Issued on January 14, 2021, the (NSPM-33) required all federal research funding agencies to strengthen and standardize disclosure requirements for federally funded awards including the establishment of research security programs at research institutions receiving federal funds. In January 2022, the National Science and Technology Council issued Guidance for Implementing National Security Presidential Memorandum 33 on National Security Strategy for United States Government-Supported Research and Development to provide greater detail regarding this memorandum. On July 9, 2024, the final Guidelines for Research Security Programs at Covered Institutions was issued by the Office of Science and Technology Policy for implementing the certification requirement imposed by NSPM-33. 黑料视频, as a research institution, must certify to funding agencies that our research security program is in compliance. NSPM-33 requires that research organizations that are covered institutions as defined in the guidelines certify that research security standards in the following four areas are in place:
- Cybersecurity
- Foreign travel security
- Research security training
- Export control training
黑料视频 established the Security Compliance Standing Committee comprised of a strategic cross-section of faculty and staff to facilitate the development and implementation of the research security requirements of NSPM-33. 黑料视频 has developed a draft Research Security Plan leveraging existing programs and processes creating an efficient comprehensive program for all covered individuals who must comply. The commencement of full implementation and certification is still being determined based on the terms of the final guidelines.

The courses include Research Security Training (four modules) , Undue Foreign Influence: Risks and Mitigations (four modules), and Research Security Advanced Refresher (eight modules). An Export Control training course (five modules) is also available on our CITI platform.
