Our mission is to provide direct support to undergraduate and graduate students, empowering them to address their needs holistically and achieve personal and academic success. Scope of services
Case managers do not diagnose, provide therapy, or offer counseling services. Instead, they provide information, resources, and practical strategies to help students manage and navigate challenging situations.
Private Office Status
The CARE Team holds a private office status, meaning its confidentiality rules differ from those of medical or mental health providers.
- Information is shared on a need-to-know basis, except in cases of crisis or imminent safety concerns.
- Students may be asked to sign a release of information to facilitate collaboration.
- Student may be referred to the Students of Concern Committee, or possibly reviewed by the Threat Assessment Team. All students referred will receive appropriate intervention based on their unique situations.
