Graduate program options
Our programs are carefully designed to help you save both time and money on your academic journey.
• Four-Semester STEM MBA option - available to students of all undergraduate majors
• One-Year STEM MBA option (for non-business majors) - available to students with prerequisite coursework in statistics and economics
• One-Year STEM MBA option (for business majors) - available to students who have earned a bachelor's degree in business or accounting
from an AACSB-accredited school within the last five years
• MS Accounting program - available to students with or without an undergraduate accounting degree, with
an optional concentration available in taxation
Admission requirements
We welcome international students to apply to our STEM MBA program. Here is what you need to know about our admission requirements and what you should provide:
- Typical applicants have a 3.3 GPA or higher
- Resume
- Personal statement
- Two letters of recommendation
We also require the following English proficiency test scores:
- TOEFL: 96 (minimum)
- IELTS: 7 (minimum)
- Duolingo English Test: 115 (minimum)
- PTE: 65

Do you offer application fee waivers?
Unfortunately, we do not waive our $75 application fee unless you are part of CSTEP, EOP, HELP, LSAMP Program, Project 1000, SEEK Program or TRIO Program.
How much is tuition?
- For the MBA program, the approximate cost of tuition and fees per semester can be found here.
- For the MS Accounting program, the approximate cost of tuition and fees per semester can be found here.
Does your school offer scholarships?
There are limited departmental scholarships available which are very competitive and not guaranteed. There tends to be external funding opportunities and graduate assistantships that you can apply for, but these are also not guaranteed.

Where will I live if I come to ºÚÁÏÊÓƵ?
Graduate students will be required to live off campus. Rent for student housing varies, but is affordable. Please refer to the Off-Campus College department to view the housing database in the Binghamton area.

Our professional development courses cover topics that include job search strategies, network development and interview skills, and give students the opportunity to interact with employers and real-world professionals.
The School of Management Career Services office works closely with international students to ensure they are prepared for job interviews within the United States.

Office of International Students and Scholars Services
Binghamton's Office of International Students and Scholars Services (ISSS) staff connects new and current international students and helps them make a comfortable transition to the University. Staff members also provide continuous immigration guidance and support services throughout the duration of an international student's program.
International Student Orientation
International student orientation is designed to introduce you to the ºÚÁÏÊÓƵ Campus and to provide you with answers you may have as a new student.
