闯辞颈苍听Jamie Jacobs 鈥06, an English graduate from 黑料视频, as she shows attendees how to build a successful marketing and fundraising plan from scratch. Jacobs began interning at Riger Marketing Communications in downtown Binghamton, where she was later hired as an account assistant upon her graduation the following year. Now a managing partner since 2021, Jamie serves clients across a wide range of industries such as automotive, nonprofit, healthcare, education, retail, and B2B. She has versatile experience producing commercials and directing campaigns based on market research and brand development.


Students will walk through the process of communicating and collaborating directly with clients to develop a mock strategic plan to help grow their business. They will learn how to ask the right questions and get insight into preparing tailored marketing objectives, goals and tactics.

This workshop will consist of a presentation providing tips and tricks on how to create a proper resume followed by professional assistance by upperclassmen. By the end of the workshop, you will know how to create an exceptional resume that will stand out to recruiters.

The third Bitcoin Studies workshop of the Spring 2025 semester is especially for
the entrepreneurs on campus. In it, you will learn how decentralized finance (DeFi)
operates on Bitcoin and how to deploy basic financial tools from traditional
finance (TradFi) directly on chain. By this knowledge, you can deploy your own
hedge funds, investment strategies, stablecoins, real-world-asset (e.g., real
estate) tokenization firms, and more鈥 all while being your own bank.

Whatever your position on Bitcoin is, whatever your interest is, whatever your
existing knowledge is, you are welcome into our Bitcoin Studies workshops. We
have five formal workshops per semester. If you attend all five, you will be part of
the only university cohort in the country earning a comprehensive skillset in
Bitcoin, from Bitcoin basics to running nodes, mining, and more.

聽For the remainder of the semester, the Bitcoin Studies Spring 2025 workshopswill be held in the Watson School of Engineering鈥檚 fabrication lab. In the lab, youwill learn how to use the core features of Bitcoin鈥檚 proof-of-work consensusmechanism: a decentralized global network of nodes and miners (ASICs runningan algorithm to add blocks to the chain and generate new BTC). In theseworkshops, you will experiment with nodes and miners to create a decentralizedcloud network, use AI to run DeFi and Humanities processes, and deploy miningtools to recycle energy and heat. The fourth workshop focuses on nodes.聽
