BING TRIO Mentors (TMs)
Have you ever wished you had an older sibling here at Binghamton who could show you the ropes and help you out from time to time? SSS TMs can help! Available to all incoming students throughout the fall semester, SSS TMs are fellow SSS students, who can help new SSS students with:
- Creating and building friendships
- Getting a job or an internship
- Navigating campus
- Connecting with the local community through volunteering
- Joining clubs and organizations
- Learning how to use Degree Works and register for courses
- Discovering the best places to live and eat (on- and off-campus)
New SSS students can request to be matched with a SSS TM through a survey sent out to eligible students each fall.
Returning students who are interested in becoming a TM can learn more.
