Alumni Connect – August 2019
Alumni changing the world
At our Homecoming TIER Talks®, you’ll hear from alumni who are increasing access to healthcare, improving educational outcomes for children with autism, and proactively combating genocide and mass atrocities.
Forming BOLD connections
If you've graduated from Binghamton within the past 10 years, you'll soon notice that we'll be reaching out more with events and programs tailored to your interests.
Doll helps abused children
When Hazell McKenzie, MSW ’19, heard her daughter confide an innocuous secret to her doll, it reinforced how kids can feel uninhibited with a judgment-free audience. This is the idea behind AdamaDOLL.
Lifelong love for scouting
D. Brady Drummond-Ryan ’79 has found you can leave scouting, but scouting never leaves you. The Charlotte, N.C., area scoutmaster and Eagle Scout himself, received national recognition recently because of his lifetime contributions to the Boy Scouts of America.
Welcoming new, returning students
The Class of 2023 embodies the University’s commitment to excellence in education. Everything from their test scores to their experience in leadership positions suggests this class will succeed and will leave a lasting impression on the University.
Things only our students get
